Melt and Pour Soap bases have high levels of glycerin added to make them easy to work with. Glycerin is a humectant meaning that it is a substance that draws moisture to it. Great for skin, the glycerin in the soap bars leaves a film on the skin which continues to draw moisture which helps to keep skin dewy, not great if you live in a humid environment, want to show off your bars at a farmers market or want to reduce packaging.
This base is formulated with less glycerin so wrapping is not neccessary.
